Can't even log into my account via other methods like Google. Don't even bother.

To elaborate, the PC version ONLY allows you to log in via Steam. Meaning if your account is linked to anything other than that, you're flat out unable to sign in via that account. It doesn't help that the game itself feels like a chore after going through it once. While there's nothing wrong with a social game, there are plenty of better options on PC. (Yes, even VRChat is something which I consider to be better than this game because it actually has stuff to do in it.)

The issue with the game is the lack of... any content whatsoever. There's cosmetics, sure, and a few areas, but that's it. You can replay previous seasons, but you don't get the rewards for them. You have to wait for a spirit of that season to come every two weeks, and it's not even guaranteed that it'll be the spirit you want nor the season it's from. Micro-transactions make TF2 unusuals look affordable, and end all is said and done, there is so little content that the content it does have gets repetitive real quick. It certainly doesn't help that there's no combat whatsoever, or even anything else that isn't combat that doesn't have to do with talking to other people. (Which contrary to what people tell you, I'm going to be blunt about it: This community sucks. Simple as that.)

Said cosmetics that aren't paid for are still expensive with in-game currency. Yep, it's one of those grind-y games. The candle system is actually bad and it takes ages to even get one heart. The worst part is you also need them to level up your friendship with other players to do certain emotes. Said emotes aren't the issue, it's the fact that they even cost anything in the first place. (In a game about interacting with others, no less.)

All-in-all, this is a game that tries to be Journey but is littered with MTAs and overpriced cosmetics. As someone who played from Season of Dreams to Season of Performance... there are a ton of better social games than this one. Yeah, just stick to VRChat if you're looking for a social game. Sure, it has its own problems, but at least you actually have something to do in it.

best community of people in a multiplayer game! I have met some of the coolest people that have become safe people for me strictly from this game alone. I have been in the game 11 days and by the end of today I will have 80 hours. I am obsessed, as a collecting frenzied gamer I truly enjoy how this game has been set up. This is still a pre-release game so I'll give it some leeway - but right now there isn't actually a game here at all. Just a rather vague and twee visual novel where go press F and W alternately. I wasn't able to play for more than about 30 seconds at a time without triggering a long, slow, unskippable cutscene. Novely wore off after about 20 minutes. Shame - I loved journey. Maybe this will be good when it's finished - but unless they radically change it, say by actually adding any sort of challenging gameplay - then I doubt it'll be worth it.
