can you save anytime or is it just the usual lazy end-of-day nonsense? and is there a setting that shows text immediately instead of the annoying typewriter effect seen in the trailer? (if there are text display noises, there should be a toggle for those too.)...

I'm pretty much at the end of the game with one exception, Marie's plotline, and I'm just curious if anyone knows when she come back/how to trigger that event. Thanks in advance to any replies.

Absolutely love the game so far. Some spoilers... After I picked up the gem in the tunnels and returned to the pool at the entrance, a person covered in green light was sinking to the bottom then disappeared?? Anyone know what that's about?

At the start of the game there was a blue basket I could put crops in, but towards the end of my first rainy season it disappeared. Is it supposed to disappear after a certain time for some reason, or is it a bug? It would be handy to have now that I can afford to buy more seeds. I'm enjoying the game so far though, and will probably write a review at a later date. ...
