Save file corrupted - No fix?
Hello,

Recently I've been trying to play SMSD, but after a good hour of playing I decided it was time to take a rest. I quit the game and I get the popup that my save-file has been corrupted.
Now I've scouted the net for possible solutions, but none of them work.
I've tried re-naming the save-file to :
    Spider-Man D Save.fpop
    Save.fpop
I have also tried importing a 100% save file to see if that works, it doesn't

Is there anyone that can help me?


I've tried re-installing on 2 different drives, does't fix it.

You rename it false
Please rename in
Spider-Man SD Save.fpop

I don't know it possible to fix it.
Activision will not fix it, only the money from the customer. :-(

copy it on the desktop, delete the one in the save then place the copy in the folder

Go to control pannel, programs, turn windows features on or off and click + on .NET Framework 3.5 and check everything, then ok and restart your pc. Idk if it'll work but i've seen people do this.

Or try to change the lenguage to something else, then watch if the game load your save (do the desktop thingy too) and return to english.

Thanks Dam, I was almost giving up on the game, I had already done everything, I thought it was the translator for PT-BR, I removed it, changed the folder... I followed your recommendation and the save came back immediately. Thank you very, very much.

You can also quit the game NOT by using the panel menu but just press Alt-F4.
It work for me.
