I'm a big sucker for games like this, but after 30 hours I just didn't have anything to do anymore. The story is not really developed, I haven't figured out a thing about Lilly's sister, which was the part that was most compelling to me at the time of purchase.
I think there is a lot potential to improve the game, because the basics are great and I really had a lot of fun playing. I'd have loved if I could have played longer and I really wanted the story to be part of the fun. But the fun was mostly what all games like these offer - completing bundles, villager requests, villager relationships and getting animals.
Fiona's shop could have been very interesting, but I didn't really need anything which I could buy there, because why do I need a magic shovel to dig a 3x3 space, when I can do that after the first hoe upgrade. I think there is a lot that can be done better, but I hope I can give this game another chance when it is further developed.
