I think this game on its own(not comparing to ITR1) is a great game. It does have its issues, but it is early access and I have faith that the devs will turn this into an amazing game.

This game is EXTREMELY fun, however... I would not at all recommend this to someone who wants an exciting single player game. It is mostly just walking around and occasionally fighting in intense, short encounters. What makes the time in between fun is friends. When walking around base and hanging out, you feel extremely immersed in the game. Walking to objectives feels like a hike. In summary, buy the game with 1 or more friends and only play with them, the game isn't super fun without it.

I really wanna love this game, as i did the first one to death. But the sheer amount of performance issues i have with this game just makes it downright unplayable. my specs are as follows:

I really dont know why it runs so poorly, as I usually run fine when in the home base, but as soon as i exit to any map it just starts dropping to 10fps or lower. occasionally it will start running fine out of nowhere but i will get consistent frame drops especially in the forest area making it essentially unplayable.

I usually play at lowest graphics, a resolution of 80% for steamvr resolution, and 100-120% resolution for in game res, turning down either gives very slight performance boosts but still borderline unplayable.

One of the biggest bugs i have encountered as well is an issue where as soon as i touch an item on my vest which would provide haptic feedback like hovering over it before grabbing, makes my hand float away as if my controller disconnected, then would come back in the next few seconds as if i grabbed it normally, i do not know why this occurs but it seems to be fixed when i turn off the haptic feedback for grabbing items off of chest in the menu.

i hope i provided some constructive criticism towards this game and this reaches the developers, as i do want to love it, it is currently i would say unplayable in its current state but i want to see it thrive so me and others could have fun with it.

Game is basically unplayable unless you have a top spec computer. I wouldn't recommend this game. Very disappointing.

Love this game and genre, but game doesnt run without huge stuttering all the time. Would love for it to be fixed. until then. thumbs be down. unplayable.

The game, when it works, is fun, i played the first one a lot and i think if fixed this game would be a good sequel, but at this moment i haven't closed the game normally once, every single time it just crashes. When you take off your headset - crash, change a setting - crash, open the steam vr menu - what a surprise, crash. I'm really hoping it will get better, just like the first one

The devs forgot they were building a multiplayer game and didn't bother to replicate anything.
