So I was the buyer.
My +1 got the Gift of the game and after the release she can choose (for now) only available languages. She got (after she redeemed the gift) Divinity 1, Divinity 1.5, Divinity 2. That's all. No DLC. No language selection of not yet complete languages (that's ok).
QUESTION: Whos version of the game is incorrect? Mine is full with DLC but I can choose languages that are not present. Or hers with no languages or any DLC.
Answer here something and fix it please (somehow). I am sure thousands of users have the same issue.
EDIT: Thanks. We need no ingame boosts anyway but love the additional materials.
I'll paste a post from me from another topic:
When you buy the Digital Collectors Edition you get :
- 2 steam copies of all three games (1 copy for you, 1 copy as a gift), being Original Sin, Beyond Divinity, Divine Divinity
- 1 copy of the DLC
Note to be clear about the DLC ingame:
You do not need this DLC to play the game. It is also not story-related DLC. These are just unique items the host gets one set of when he creates a new game. He can pass this item along to the player in his co-op session if he wants to, but there will always be only one set per co-op session.
So if you and a friend both have the DLC, there will still only be one set of these items in the game session. Only the host controls the creation of the DLC, not the joining player, because this player is joining his story line session.
This would also not make sense lore-wise to have 2 times this unique item in the game world.
Again, if you own the DLC, this will allow you to create games with one set of the items. You can then choose to share these items with anyone joining your session.
@shaft: we are looking into the echo issue - no fix yet
The DLC should be fixed now (not long ago)
I LOVE this game, but this is making me walk away from it more than play it... save often to keep blood pressure down, indeed.
(I am probably upgrading to 64 bit this week or next, but I am pressing this issue for those that don't want to upgrade or can't afford to and because this issue is just plain bad)
Restart Steam. Right click on your game in the Steam library, then pick properties. Check the rightmost tab labelled DLC. It should list the items in your DLC.
I have all mine. It started working earlier today.
The soundtrack, dev images and artbook are in the "SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Divinity - Original Sin\CollectorsEdition" folder.
Grail increases armor value by dragging it on top of armor pieces in the inventory.
Trunks are supposed to talk at times while wearing them (as a belt).
I bought the base game and then the Source Hunter DLC later on. So I'm missing the Collector's Edition folder (as I don't own it). I have the in-game items but I'm still missing the art and soundtrack. The DLC also isn't being shown in the properties>DLC tab, even though the store page for it says I own it. So as it stands, the DLC isn't fully working for those without the CE.
I did the exact same thing. I bought the base game and then the Source Hunter DLC. I don't know why it made a CE folder and put it in there, but it did :)
