Demo is working weirdly for everyone, or at least I think so.
I have two friends, which downloaded it. For one of them the demo works normally, for other one it doesn't work (but I think it's because he didn't created an account and was using offline mode).

And for the help you should join discord server of shootmania, and ask about it there, because the steam version of the game, doesn't have that big number of people.
