Where do I begin...
I like idle games. Really, I do. But this was one of the most uninteresting late-game grinds I’ve ever experienced. Let’s start with the gameplay:
The game initially seems interesting—you start with a miner who works long and hard on a rock. Over time, you unlock more and more characters, and the core gameplay is decent for an idle game. The graphics are rather "meh," the UI is clear and mostly intuitive. As for the sound... I turned it off after just a few minutes of gameplay.

Then there are the achievements:
Anyone aiming for 100% achievements in this game needs a lot of motivation. A LOT of motivation. Because the last 500 hours of gameplay are nothing but a boring grind, with nothing new to see. And that’s probably intentional because... the game has an in-game shop with premium currency. While you can unlock all necessary content by simply playing the game, these items are tied to a grind filled with daily and weekly quests. By the end, the game feels artificially slowed down and offers absolutely no new content.

Mechanically, the game is far inferior to many other idle games. If you consider Idle Clicker or NGU Idle as benchmarks, you’ll find Idle Cave Miner extremely disappointing. Discovering new content even after hundreds of hours? Forget about it. The last update was six months ago, and it’s unlikely there will be more.

All in all, I can’t recommend this game. The last few hundred hours were utterly boring and purely to satisfy my inner achievement hunter. Otherwise, I would’ve uninstalled the game after just a few dozen hours.
