i guess its fun but gets boring fast

I think this game has a lot of potential, it is fun and cute at heart. Levels also blend together and the core gameplay loop gets repetitively boring fast. Not much to do beyond click on things to set actions on and wait, with little challenge beyond taking the time to level up the correct number of plants to drive the correct fish and accomplish the mini puzzles on each level. There isn't enough difference between crab A and crab B of the same roles even at the end of the game they all feel the same regardless of which upgrades they each got. Still feels like it needs more content and depth as it feels very shallow currently. Beat the normal difficulty on the first attempt and don't feel much need to go back and play anymore.

Some ux/ui improvements could be helpful. The crab icons in the lower right should be grouped by type and be better reflective of the individual crab style, as the entire point is to quickly see and identify specific crabs from that icon, which you currently can't.

I will say the seascape at night is beautiful with the bioluminescence and the crabs are cute and fun to watch. Lots of potential with this, but it definitely needs more depth and things to do

Overall a cute and generally fun game, with a lot of character. (The inclusion of positive/negative perks like "believes they were cursed by a sea witch" were definitely appreciated.)

The one thing I would caution, is that some of the procedural elements aren't the tightest. I have run into issues where the map's Relic Stones (think 'quests') are impossible to complete. In one such instance, it would have required me to have a specific upgrade from a previous Relic Stone in order to grow the right number of plants (on the second map, so I had a total of 1 upgrade). On another, it required attracting a type of fish with 'unknown' needs -- though I had already acquired every plant/fish available to me on the map.

While downloading the demo is generally good advice, this is particularly true if the need for tight strategic gameplay is a priority for you.
