Seems like KOEI is the only company doing games on history.
Not like Civilization where its on country and just take over the world, no history really.

Anyways I think if rotk and nobunaga if its washed out, they should look into 13th century.

So basically I think mongols were a threat. You have the cultural war for the holy land going on too.
So you have 3 parties, they do a bunch of schemes just like ROTK one side gets more power something scheme like happens they all sudden weak and what not and so on just like ROTK.
Would watch the series ertugrul. Its pretty good, you'll see why it would make sense to have a game based off of it like rotk style history based.

Although I'm not sure how it ends or if there is an end. But rotk is just like that, wei shu wu, none of them win, jin takes over. rotk it pretty much is really enjoyable when cao cao is alive, so I can see the 13th century whatever they call that period, probably just be as fun when ertugul alive. I think it is after genghis khan, I don't know about genghis khan reign.

I think genghis khan and alexander and julius caesar they just conquered so its not really fun unlike rotk or 13th century where super power emerges then some scheme and they gotta rebuild and so on, epic comebacks and such.

I'd say Ertugrul forces would be Wu, but this Wu with Sun Ce still alive. I'm thinking Sun Ce would be like Liu Bei if they fully established Wu. Think Sun Ce is more Liu Bei than Liu Bei.
Tradgic how some of these heroes died and never really know what would have become of them if they live longer.
Think the Mongols would be Shu, once you take out the tough ones, the corse like Guan Yu and Zhang Fei it falls apart, whoever the youngster leader is I think that is how Mongels fall apart. Not sure if the Mongols had someone like Zhuge Liang to come up with the plan to make the Mongols as great as they were.
The other force would be like Wei, but I guess in this term, Wei isn't that powerful in this romance, or maybe just in the beginning powerful, as in they start with the good cities but thats about it. Wei in rotk, pretty much has the good cities.

Lets be real, in 13th century ertugul terrible cities, mongols they got a lot of land but cities not so good. but the 3rd force they got like those early empire roman fancy cities beefed up. Just like Wei with Chang An Luo Yang, etc.
