Before we get into the details of the first update of the game, another patch with more fixes is coming in a few days. We wanted to gather as much as possible before releasing it, rather than pushing rapid patches.

Now, let's talk about the the update!

Well, beyond fixes and adjustments we’ve been brewing something magical behind the scenes. We are currently focusing on 3 main features.

Yes! Our electrifying mage is coming together. We’re working to make it feel like you are the one bringing down the bolts. This lightning-wielding spellcaster dominates the battlefield with devastating bursts of electricity, chaining attacks between enemies and summoning storms to obliterate foes.

We can't imagine a Lightning Mage without a Chain Lightning spell! Chain Lightning arcs between multiple foes, unleashing twin bolts that leap across the battlefield. Send shocking orbs that zap targets one by one, or hurl a massive lightning ball rolling through enemies before detonating in a thunderous explosion.

Need some Crowd Control? Cast an electrical zone that traps and stuns / damages enemies in a storm of energy.

Strike with precision using a piercing lightning beam, fire a thunderous arrow that carves through anything in its path, or dash forward as spears of lightning rain from the sky!

This Ring Crafting will be just the beginning of the Crafting System in RoTM!

This system lets you gather Gems across different maps and use them to craft some powerful rings.

Then, you'll wear them to unleash your true potential. But you might be wondering, "What powers do these rings hold?"


Each ring offers unique advantages—at a price.

Some grant a second chance at survival, either teleporting you back to safety or leaving you on the brink of death with a fleeting escape portal. Others reshape combat and economy, like one that boosts gold gain at the cost of damage, or another that sacrifices gold for raw power.

For those who embrace risk, certain rings push the limits—one fuels your ultimate with your own life force for increased devastation, while another triggers a random ultimate from any archetype whenever you unleash your own.

Tactical players will find rings that enhance potion effectiveness, strengthen card-based synergies, or even cause projectiles to chain between multiple enemies.

Whether you crave power, adaptability, or high-stakes strategies, these rings will let you forge your own path to dominance.

And of course, to show off your rings across the multiverse, we’re planning to add 3D models so you can inspect and admire their power up close!


There are different types of Gems and they can be acquired in specific maps. Explore the maps and find Gem Crystals scattered across different locations. When you destroy a Gem Crystal, it will drop Gems for you. These Gems are required for Crafting or Upgrading a Ring. When you are in the crafting panel, you will see the rings with unique effects. Crafting or Upgrading requires Gems and Gold. When you craft a ring you will wear it on your fingers.

• Find Gem Crystal across the multiverse.
  
• Destroy a Gem Crystal to acquire Gems.
  
• Use Gems and Gold to Craft or Upgrade a ring.
  
• Wear your rings to enjoy their unique effects.

According to your feedback and our internal tests, while primary abilities are quite useful at the start, they tend to become just a tool to trim some health from enemies as the difficulty increases. We came up with a system to both solve this situation and create an engaging feature for you.

There is currently a rank system tied to your continuous engagement in combat. You can see it in the bottom-left corner of your screen, and it increases as you unleash chaos upon enemies. The rank resets when you're out of combat for a while, but your highest rank is recorded. To add more depth and address the trimming issue, we've revised this system.

Now, your primary ability damage scales with your combo rank. As long as you stay in combat, your attacks grow stronger, ensuring that even as the difficulty rises, your primary ability remains a force to be reckoned with. So yes, momentum is your new power—keep the fight going and watch your damage soar!

• Engage in combat and get your rank up.
  
• You will get a bonus primary ability damage according to your new rank.
  
• If you stay away from a fight for a while, your rank resets and you lose your primary ability bonus

Hello Mages!

Our latest patch brings stability improvements, exciting updates, and improvements based on your feedback!
Here’s everything new:

Addressed the most frequent crashes to improve overall stability. Please continue sending crash reports so we can resolve any remaining issues!

• Gold Chests: Now automatically collected when approached—no need to interact.

• Fire Arrow: Crossbows now appear on the character’s arm, and arrows fire from there.
  
• Added a special reload animation.
  (DEV Note: Cavill's iconic “arm reload”, that was fun to add lol)

• Obliterate: Now plays an animation on activation. (DEV Note: There’s also a hidden animation accessible via a cheat code)
  
• Also Implemented an SFX for the new Obliterate animation, including its secret animation version.
  
• A spawning sequence for the Forest Boss has been added.

• Game audio now mutes when the game loses focus.

• Are We Sure About This?: Fixed an issue where the 3× enemy difficulty increase didn’t reset after death.
  
• Queens Gambit: Fixed a crash when automatically selecting a card while teleporting.
  
• Burnable Cards (Obliterate, Trick the Reaper, etc.):
  
• No longer persist in the UI on the top left after use.
  
• Cannot be selected again.

• Fixed incorrect images on portals after defeating bosses.
  
• Fixed some bosses’ death animations.
  
• Paused Audio: Sound effects now pause correctly when the game is paused, while music continues playing as intended.
  
• Alt-Tab Issue: Fixed mouse sticking to the center after alt-tabbing.
  
• Intro Skip: Prevented starting the game without waiting for the intro logos with a controller.
  
• Welcome message UI now can be closed with controllers.
  
• Meteor Strike: Sound effect now cancels properly if the animation is interrupted.
  
• Flying Potions: Fixed potions floating in the air when dropped by flying enemies.
  
• Fixed an issue where interacting with a portal while airborne would cause the player to become stuck in midair.
  
• The frames around hub portals are no longer climbable.

Known minor visual issue: Mummadonna’s staff sometimes does not load a proper texture, we will fix that asap. (Dev Note: We didn’t want to delay the patch for this, so we just let that slip)
