Played this game through on browser once an an getting addicted again here on Steam.

I don’t understand most of the negative reviews, it almost always feels like you have something to do, optimizations to be made, etc. and the game just plays great 99% of the time. A lot of the reviews that say they have a hard time progressing are most likely just playing the game completely wrong. This segues to the weakest part of this game.

I think easily the worst part about it is that it is a unintuitive for new players. Each new technology is just dropped on to the player but doesn’t really explain how to use them well. For example, markets are nearly worthless until you have unlocked wheelbarrows to transport things in bulk, but you unlock markets way way earlier, and a new player might assume that markets just suck and not use them, even though they’re absolutely vital.
