Last resort is always moving it somewhere else and back and/or delete/rebuild it.
I did figure out that it was Barley I needed, not wheat. So I got things going. Or so I thought. Not a single cow farm has delivered meat. They all have full barley storage now, and water. And no meat. I even see the farmers standing over cows skeletons, so they must be harvesting them. But when I check the stats, all the farms say they've had a total of 0 meat produced. My next plan of attack, is to fully clear out one of the islands, and start it over. Otherwise, I think I'm done if I can't figure it out.
Here's the new setup that I tried out. It's bare bones for needs. The wheelbarrows never move to the wheelbarrow warehouse I have next to the cow farm. The water trough fills, but barley trough is always empty (i'm guessing no surplus yet). The cows produce meat very very rarely. And the researcher across the road, heads over to the barley farm, and that's it. Never goes to the cow farm.
The wheelbarrow needs to be touching the actual building, so needs to be swapped with the water trough.
Rest of the setup looks fine, it has access to water and barley, as well as a big enough pasture. I'm assuming you have enough workers to meet demand, though until the wheelbarrow is fixed, I am assuming the workers are probably non stop getting water.
Whenever you see a skeleton (any), click on it and check what the cause of death was, you should then be able to further address the point of failure, if it was not expected behavior.
Most of my skeletons are related to mass building of areas. I know they're all dying from not paying attention to their needs while they build. Then I give them a break while I'm working, and start the process all over again.
Anyways, thanks for all the help!
