An Important Announcement from Ghostwhale Games
This is one of the hardest messages we’ve ever had to write.
The gaming industry can be relentless, and despite our passion and dedication, we have reached a point where we can no longer continue Ghostwhale Games.

Our Early Access launch of Lindwyrm did not generate enough revenue to keep the studio running, and despite all our efforts to reach a broader audience and find support, we were unable to secure a publisher or additional funding.

As a result, we are no longer allowed to sell Lindwyrm. However, for those of you who already own the game, we will continue to release updates to address bugs—and, if circumstances allow, we may even work on more improvements in the future.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. Your support, your feedback, and your enthusiasm have meant the world to us.

What Early Access Is Not
Early Access is not a way to crowdfund development of your product.
You should not use Early Access solely to fund development. If you are counting on selling a specific number of units to complete your game, then you need to think carefully about what it would mean for you or your team if you don't sell that many units. Are you willing to continue developing the game without any sales? Are you willing to seek other forms of investment?
