Who will become Champion Of Chaos!?

Starting today, we invite you to join this new Special Event! It's a fierce competition on in Survival Mode, running from 23rd May to 1st of June - 11am PST (Saturday).
Here's what to expect:


Chaos Cluster are an additional cluster of enemies that appear during a wave. They appear every 5 seconds, and consist of random enemies from the game. Some of these carry useful spells! Destroy these clusters for additional points, and be careful not to let them trample you!

A new type of Chester has been added to the game! These carry limited edition Plate Pieces, and are only available during the Special Event. Plate Pieces dropped from these Chesters are green, and unlocks hidden soundtracks in your Playlist. Catch them while the event is still ongoing!

BUT they won't go down easy! They'll circle you and pelt spells of their own. Use your unlocked abilities to your advantage, and take em down as fast as you can! They'll dissapear before the current wave ends.

Thanks to the game's growing community, Steam has allowed us to add Trading Cards to the game! Earn them from playing Savant - Ascent REMIX, turn them into badges and unique emotes!

Survival Mode is one of the hardest modes of the game, and if you are seeking tips/tricks, head on over to our Discord[discord.gg], where current champs are eager to give you some pointers!

A new (or rather Classic) way to experience the game!

New Powers
This mode lets you unlock new abilities as you ascend through the tower! Some of these abilites are amazingly powerful, like the Spell Book, which lets you absorb projectiles from enemies and store them as spells, which you can cast at any time!

Ultra Shot is another ability - letting you summon a dragon to trash your foes! This is made even more powerful by increasing your Power LVL!

Discover all the new abilities by playing through the Classic Story Mode. These abilities also carry over to Classic Survival Mode & the new Time Attack Mode!

There's been a slew of changes to this mode as well. Some of the new abilites from Classic Mode are now available, and will be unlocked from the moment you start, including Spin Dash & Ultra Shot.

More challenges has been added, and new waves of enemies to keep you on your toes! Once you complete the FINAL WAVE - a greater challenge awaits - the Samurai is not only joined by foes from the lower levels, but other bosses as well!

Look out for wild Chesters, which will start appearing during this phase, carrying CD-pieces to unlock the final songs of the game's soundtrack!

Reclaim Combo: If you lose your HIT Combo in REMIX Mode, you can quickly recover it by defeating enemies. Keep your Combo going to earn Power LVLs which empower your abilities!

In Classic Mode, once you find a way to unlock the 'Philosophers Stone' you'll be able to increase your Power LVL by absorbing enemies. When you reach MAX LVL, the Alchemist will break into dance - which charges yet another move - the Spectral Burst!

VSYNC essentially unlocks the framerate to that of your monitor. If you experience screen tearing while playing, try turning this setting on/off and look for an improvement. Find this new setting in the Main Menu, on the Display Settings page.

Custom Playlist & Songs let's you add you fave songs into the game. Drop your .mp3 files in the 'MP3' folder, and your custom songs should will be displayed toward the bottom of the Playlist on the pause menu. This folder is located in the game's installation folder, typically found through your Steam Library.

Trading Cards & Badges Thanks to our growing community, Steam has now granted us permission to add Trading Cards for Savant - Ascent REMIX! We'll be adding these shortly - so keep a look out for another update in the near future.

Minor Additions:

• Menu now display icons to help you navigate them, even if you accidentally toggled to a foreign language.
  
• Screenshake can now be enabled/disabled in Display settings.
  
• 12 new Achievements for excelling through the new Classic Mode and Survival.
  
• Volume of logo intros now properly affected by music volume setting.

HOTFIX:
+ 'Dance Off' achievement now unlockable.

D-Pad (& Savant)!

It's time! Classic Mode is launching as a free update to Savant - Ascent REMIX on May 9th, along with a bunch of other additions to the game.

Classic Mode is (almost) here! New abilities, play modes and greatly expanded stages await!

Want a sneak-peek right away? You can now opt into the Beta by selecting Savant - Ascent REMIX in your Steam Library, and enter 'Properties'. From here, go to the Betas pane, and select 'Beta' from the dropdown menu.

Once the game has updated - you can now play the latest version of the game, which includes the anticipated 'Classic Mode'.

It's essentially an expanded version of the game! Unlockable Power-Ups from the original Savant - Ascent are back (with a vengence) - and you can now play Survival or the brand new Time Attack Mode with your unlocked abilities!

Survival Mode has also recieved additional challenges and waves - designed to keep you on your toes even with new powers at your disposal.

Time Attack Mode can be played on each stage or as a complete run through the entire game. This weekend, we're doing this year's very first Time Attack Competition, so get your practice in while you can!

We still need to finalize in-game texts and translations before official launch, and iron out all the issues that might arise during testing. Meet him in the Survival Mode during the holiday season!


HIT Combos now persist through scene transitions, so you can keep your combo going throughout the Story Mode. Keep pelting you attacks at bosses or enemeis to keep your combo going - if you get hit by any of their attacks, your combo is GONE!

If you Combo is about to dissapear, get some air-time going for a final chance to refresh your combo!

Changelist:
+ 6 new christmas themed challenge encounters in Survival Mode.
+ Combos now stay for an additional second, for a total of 3.5 seconds until it is reset.
+ Big enemies now have visual Health Bars.
+ Final score screen now tallies your Highest HIT Combo and gives you a bonus (100 x Max Hit Combo).
+ Final score screen now awards Boss HIT Bonus, awarding extra points based on your HIT combo as you defeat a boss (100 x Hit Combo).
+ Three new Power Levels.
