Last Boss is a Complete Joke
I'll start from the fact that I'm terrible at souls-likes. At times I had to spend few hours repeating the same boss fights, over and over again to finally win.

I arrive at the last boss, expecting there to be a challenge. I expect hard fight, with 2 stages.
Turns out the dude is just a reskin of the first phase of the previous main boss fight with wings attached and instead of swiping his claws, he spins with his wings and sometimes drops red points on map.
No second phase, no nothing, took me 4 tries to win. Second easiest boss in the entire game, the easiest one would be the very first one that wasn't even a challenge because it was still a "tutorial".

Overall I enjoyed the game, I complained earlier a lot, but it won me over.
Although hitboxes have problems, I had few times where I'd visibly hit the completely still boss (mainly at Bo Magus) and the game would not even count the hit.

Try the optional chapter 4/5 bosses and report back :-D Yes, the mandatory story end boss is "easy" compared to some others. I guess they maybe did that so the actual mandatory story parts are not AS hard? Because the optonal encounters can be quite something.

Yeah it's one of the easier boss, there are a lot of optional bosses that are harder. First try on my first playthrough, I thought for sure there was a phase 2. I agree, kind of a let down.

The only bosses I haven't fought in the game is Demon of Obsession - didn't spawn for me despite getting Good and True Ending and Ai Nengqi - I just didn't go that way and kept pushing forward.
Zhao Yun deemed one of the hardest bosses took me ~10 tries.

I mean, he is a great boss, but I definitely expected something more from a final boss.

Demon of Obsession is my favorite, it's basically us with all weapons and spells, quite fun, took me longer to beat than Zhao yun. lol

I wrote it in another discussion too, towards the end of the game I had so many difficult boss fights one after another, that when it came to final fight I was too tired mentally that took me more tries than it should have. I had so many cheap deaths on this boss, more than any other, I simply could not focus

For me somehow this last boss was the least stressful and as I mald during every boss fight, when fighting him I was completely calm, even when I lost the first 3 tries I didn't even get angry.

Yeah demon of obsession was brutal as all hell, fun fight but man was she tough. One of the toughest fights in the game for me, very satisfying once you manage to take her down. The final boss is pretty much a fodder enemy in comparison to her.

This is the great thing about Souls games. The last boss was harder to me than any of the bosses people complain about being difficult. Demon of Obsession was probably the hardest in the game, but every other boss that people spent hours on I beat in a few tries.

Yeah those were by far the top 2 hardest fights for me, Vermillion Feather Honglan was brutal. Makes her first encounter seem like a tutorial boss fight.

Its a shame that if you want to complete some other quests or achievements, you have to miss her

This boss wasn't difficult but kind of frustating because of some of his abilities to two shot you again when other of his attacks take off just a little bit of your hps. So it took me like 10 tries to finally beat it.

Bosses near the end of game started to become really easy, mainly because I was finally able to create a nice build. It never took me more than 2 or 3 tries to beat them. So the final boss was actually better than the previous ones. :D

You can still find her and pretty much complete all the other achievements and quests, she doesn't really impact much you may be going for, other then the riddle door achievement of course but if you already have that one then just go for it.

She is brutal though, was the hardest boss in the game for me.

Yeah I found that as well as I got near the end of the game, things started to click well for me and had a great build going. I even beat a couple bosses on the first attempt as well in the final area.

I'd just say Vermillion Honglan and especially Demon of Obsession gave me a damn beating. I don't know why but it took me far too many goes to beat her, she just never gives you space to do anything but it was a good feeling when I finally managed to take her down.

Really great game though, one of the best souls likes out there imo.
