Lame way to beat the Commander Honglan (for anyone that is stuck)
So i suck at these games, I could not parry her or say close so I did use magic.
The tactic I used was: Run away perfect dodge the telegraphed lunge attack, get 2 stacks of skyborn might, use Lu Priest spell (also has alactrity).

The Build is 25 LVL -> One hand sword -> take all the magic nodes from that side and +1 on weapon -> Left side is the most important, Keep taking till Skyfall Might LVL 3 if you can -> Take the tempest +1 node -> Opt for Tempest Needle to be magic.

Thanks! I was stuck for over an hour and after using that build beating the boss took me only a few tries.

I found she was extremely easy to telegraph and parry on her first phase if you keep your distance. She went down to half health with parries + counter attacks in less than a minute.

Second phase, the kite + perfect dodge + ranged magic attacks worked better, cause her moveset was way too random to telegraph for parries.

nice to see mate, ye saw some other guides wanting me to go back and use spells I dont have so I tried to do it with what I know everyone has at this point

that was not fair on hunglan i have been stuck on her with long sword for hours just did one handed magic build and 1 banged her, thank you for the tip

perfect dodge and obliterate attacks makes that boss stupidly easy.

Against Bo Sorcerer: Crescent Arc from Longsword helps to dodge that attack when she jumps at you with lightning speed. Then dodge through and obliterate, as others said.
