Antisocial achievement

How do you get the antisocial achievement? I went through an entire story with auto open messages and auto reading messages both turned off, and didn't click any of the emails. That did not seem to be enough. Does it not count if you open an email and then reload to a backup where you haven't opened it?...

i have ZERO clue how to get "moral victory", the description is FAR too vague. Even a hint would be great!

What Game Engine is this running on? +other questions

I'm in the process of fiddling around with gamedev for a side project and I wanted to know how this game was made. Is it possible to get any insight on how the game was coded or how the windows were implemented? I'd love to hear dev commentary

Pre-1.2.0 Patch

Hello! Today, we have a little pre-release of the 1.2.0 update. 1.2.0 will be all about localization, but before it’s time for that, we squash a couple of bugs.

Bugfixes:

- Fix issue where the game would forget whether special effects were disabled on launch. Or, to be more specific, figured out why the game would crash on launch if it started with special effects disabled so we could enable the remembering.

- Get closer to fixing issue where uncloseable phantom windows appear for some Windows 11 users after alt-tabbing the game (or changing the window size). This is pretty much the final boss of launch bugfixes but it should now be happening for less of you.

- Very quietly add first batch of translations. Soft launch for these while the full list goes through final checks; more languages and a larger announcement coming soon.

Unable to continue endless run when loading backup

Hello, I wanted to continue my endless run at work, however when I do so, everything immediately spirals out of control. The planet temperature spikes to over 100000f in seconds my bills spike into the trillions, and my system temp jumps to the 10's of thousands of degrees. I was playing this endless run safe just fine at home. I've even tried it with the 5 previous backup saves and it always happens. Any ideas on what to do? I'll post a video of it happening shortly....

Totally Green?

At first I was going hard trying to make as much money as possible then the planetary heat index hit me and I have been trying to scale back everything to a green state. Anyone been able to get to that point yet? I am scaling back generators and replacing them with solar and have nearly scaled back all of my clusters. Its been super slow moving because of the costs of solar as you push 100+...

I am not a great fan of clicker games, I personally don't even remember when was the last time I played one but FACEMINER really caught my attention with it's aesthetic and music which really fit into my taste. I usually have trouble immersing myself into video games but this was a complete opposite, this game got my full attention for the entirety of the playthrough (which is pretty short, but still). The atmosphere is amazing, music is great, story-wise it has it's charms but it kind of insists upon itself at some point, it's extremely in your face and treats you like an idiot (also the privacy aspect gets thrown out the window at one moment, and from then the story revolves only around the environmental impact). Overall, a very good game, I don't think it's worth the full price but surely check it out when it's on a discount.
