Volvo FH6 smaller camera mirror
Currently driving a Volvo FH6 (and loving it, it makes me think more about slowing down slowly rather then coming to a full stop as not a fast accelerator) hate the big side mirrors as i want to see as much as possible when approaching especially roundabouts so have used mod to take main side mirror off and a camera mirror which is mounted down the door front window frame however the camera is still about 2 inch's too wide on both sides which still blocks some viewing out, i have looked but have not dound one that is no wider then the frame width...is there anything ?
also i have a Volvo FH5 but have not found a mod from workshop that takes the main mirror off is there one ?
I do check things before asking questions and only ask when i cannot find. thanks

seogis mirror cam mod ,used to be in workshop but isnt anymore, just google it

i was using his as well as papa smurf but really want one narrower so doesn't protrude over either side of door/window frame, i would consider using f2 ones but i cant remove main mirror without cam mirror..although f2 are a bit small for safe use.. other people also on other places have noted sergi having removed all from ets2 and ats although he does list on external sites but i,m not going down that road..pun intended

i have tried e-mailing seogi but no reply, i do not know why his mod is no longer on steam but it has been hit and miss for a while now , i tend to use an earlier version from "dreaded external sites" but i do run it through an antivirus/malware scan first and (touch wood) i have had no problem to date ........hope this helps, :steamthumbsup:

I'm using this one on my FH6. Doesn't seem to have rear view mirror on dash screen like previous one I was using but still better than the standard mirrors.

BTW why can't I use default cam mirror on FH6? In options but doesn't show up in cab. FH5, there's no problem.

thanks have subscribed to this one hope it is smaller and I will have another go with FH5 maybe the main mirror will come off this time..

i got this, it has rear view mirror at the top on the left of the f2 mirror
the first on i picked was red one to match my truck but oddly that stopped my esc button working so swapped red one for another and works fine..a good half inch narrower too.. thanks

Its sad that seogi either is having problems or has decided to stop offering the mods here (or a 3rd option) cus i quit liked that mod and use it on all my truck and some of ky drivers trucks for aesthetics
