I do have some potential good news regarding Kingdom Wars 1 - that I`m not at liberty to discuss for another month or two. It`s pretty close to the original topic regarding taking KW into the future...
But yeah - will definitely see what we can do with at least a small update to Kingdom Wars this month. It`s more relative now as I`m actually going through the code and assets of KW1 this month.
If MKW had all three races (or 4 with the dwarves) and a long campaign along with a minigame mode like KW2 battles I would enjoy it more. MKW looks promising but I don't want to play with what to me seemed like removal of the other races.
I've seen the community collapse completely for this game from when it was having pvp battles constantly. It becomes a bit more dull but that is for most online games with low or non-existent populations.
It would be nice to see the dwarven race not being just mercenaries of other factions. Many of their buildings are in the game, they'd just need their stats ironed for balance and troop composition. Not the highest priority but it would be nice to see.
Overall a strong single player experience with all the races and an optional online component would be great, KW2 Battles was much closer to ideal. Just preferably a campaign on a larger scale and looser story.
So any news yet?
