Yes, this would probably be a nice easy way for Night Dive to re-animate an ancient game. I'd purchase this again with a proper remaster.

Don't know about you guys, but I would pay this guy to port the whole browser version by bethesda[github.com] using this (webgl + ray tracing)[reindernijhoff.net] instead of it being just another tech demo on the net.

Gee, I don't know, probably for the same reason why people create things like an HD mod for this game? Because they think it looks cool:) Unlike Star Wars™, no one stops you from playing the original unaltered version by making it unavailable:)

Agreed, there's a lot that could be done with a remaster. I would like optional features from other versions (e.g. 3DO) like improved sounds, music and sprites. Also textured floors and ceilings, an improved interface and a better map would add a lot. Something like this: https://www.moddb.com/mods/silver-wolf

They did Quake, Doom 64, and Doom + Doom II so naturally Wolfenstein should be next right? I love how if you own the game on GOG or Steam you get the enhanced version for free. I had to pay for Doom + Doom II because apparently Doom 3 BFG Edition doesn't count but I think that one is understandable.
