Fixed an issue to help with streamlining of new download users

This patch took a little bit to push out but we have some improvements based on feedback we got from the discord (you should join the discord if you aren't already, it's on the Steam page on the right side)

- It was brought up that if you get into the Options menu from the Title menu of the game with the mouse, you can't then use the mouse to leave that menu, so we've added an X to close the Options menu so now you can either use the escape key or the mouse to enter, and then use the same thing to leave!

- Finishing a dungeon brought you to the old dungeon select menu, which could allow you to access the Mountain dungeon (under maintenance) and crash the game. You can no longer get to that old pesky menu!

- Fixed some grammar on text when losing a fight
- Fixed some scaling when winning a fight based on the size of the new sprites in combat. Sprites shouldn't obscure text in the ending scnene of a fight
- Linere and Exp bonuses should no longer obscure the player health windows in combat. Their new location is temporary
- The troll sat too high in combat and it's status bar was obscured by the Mechanics bar for the fight. The troll has been lowered in the fight. Hopefully that won't have any negative ramifications for the Dire wolf placement in combat as well.

We've revamped the UI from scratch to look even better and let you navigate even faster. No part was left untouched:


New title menu! TheLemurToast knocked it out of the park with the assets for this!!



New dungeon selection screen! (the finishing touches for this are still in the works, but at least you get a taste)



New combat UI!

• You can now see every player's HP and Stacks at any time in combat
  
• Reorganized the placement of skill icons to give some room to the battlers (and there is now some space in the bottom left for a camera)
  
• New combat ending screen
  
• New alchemy screen
  
• New inventory screen

Context Menu. Every part of the game now has a menu the streamer can bring up that lets you see the relevant commands for that phase. For example, during dungeon exploration, it will list commands like !shop and !inv, among others



We also added a reminder to mod the game's bot account on Twitch to the bottom of the screen (if you haven't already). Clicking the notification will copy the command to your clipboard so it can be pasted in your chat.

Every player class and enemy type have all received a new look in combat. Alongside those, the title screen and dungeon selection screens are now one and have a lively background.

• Players can no longer see the HP of enemies;
  
• Added voice lines for the Solicitor;
  
• The Forest dungeon is back, and players can no longer access the Mountain. It's under renovation so come back later!

Barring any critical issues, this will be the last patch for a while, because we're rebuilding the game essentially from scratch! We're making good progress though, so hopefully the wait won't be too long.

Skill F - Balladeer's Overture has been modified.

This skill now will consume all Crescendo and Serenade stacks on use.

For every Crescendo Stack consumed, a random Debuff is applied to all enemies. The application rates for each Debuff is still taken into account

For every Serenade Stack consumed, a random Buff is applied to all allies.


Images have been added in for all Solicitor skills.


There is now a button in the join window when you encounter enemies in a dungeon. Clicking it will immediately start combat with whoever is currently in the party. No need to wait 35 more seconds if everyone in your chat has already joined.


Whenever the Salamander uses its Fireblast attack, it attacks all players in a line in front of it. Sometimes there is no player there though, such as if a Harpy picks a player up. When this happens, the skill has nothing to hit, waiting for an event that will never occur, and hangs until you skip it's turn or leave the dungeon. This should now be fixed. (Thank you KeenReflex and chat for catching this on your stream!)

Harpies are supposed to let go of players that they are holding when they die. Now they do that!


When playing the game at higher difficulties, the health bars for enemies get weird and don't visually update until their health value get's low enough to reflect their base health value again. This has been fixed so they always update properly

The command !health now shows the current/max health values of any player that isn't at full health so you have exactly the information you need when you use the command.

We've had issues with the combat system for a while, constant hiccups that requires the streamer to skip the current players turn to kick the game back in gear again. This change should alleviate a big number of those issues. We've also had bug reports sent back to the discord page (which you can find on the steam page on the right hand side). Many of those bugs have been addressed in this patch with more in the coming days.

- Acquiring the Max Stacks NPC buff would not display on a character when you loaded into battle. You now properly get those stacks when you enter combat.

- !contracts on solicitor wasn't showing the actively held contracts. We've loosened the patrons tongue so they will properly relay that now.

- Solicitor B/C skills weren't working properly. This has been addressed.

Warrior attempted to counter attack a Salamander that uses it's ranged fire breath attack. This counter attack could never complete because the Salamander isn't close enough to get hit, causing the game to wait for damage that can never happen.

Harpy would try to pick up a Warrior and the Warrior would counter attack. This is unintended as Warriors cannot counter this skill.

Warrior would attempt to counter attack the skill a Harpy uses after it has held on to a person for a full turn. Warriors cannot counter this skill.

If a Harpy died while holding a player, there's a chance it would not actually drop the player and they would be stuck in a state where they could not take any actions for the remainder of the fight.

Ahead of you is a climb up a Mountain covered lava, riddled with dangerous enemies. This Dungeon has lots of divergent paths so try not to get lost as you scale to the top. There are very strong fights here, so be prepared for the journey ahead.





Harpies can pick up players, immobilizing them for a turn. When the Harpy takes it’s turn again, it will do a large amount of damage to the player that was picked up. However, if the Harpy takes damage while holding a player, there’s a chance they will drop the player.

Some Harpies will prioritize a player being held by another Harpy.


Salamanders are tanky and can shoot fire in a straight line ahead, doing to players ahead of them.


Kobolds are ambush predators and will attack as a group whenever one of them attacks. They attack with weapons in hand, ranged weapons, and incomplete draconic magic.





The Dragon has a passive that generates a powerful aura around it, making it difficult to land attacks on them. Beware of their powerful breath attack!


The Fire Giant is an embodiment of heat so great that standing near it burns clothing. Don’t let the fight draw out too much or it may be hard to overcome all that extra damage in the fight.
