It's in progress. Be patient, the dev is only one person.

ETA please not hard to give an estimate.
misterbigbeard 27 Oct, 2024 @ 7:14pm
not trying to white knight here or be unhelpful either but i think this dev is working hard has good coms on his news post and doesn't want to give false hope on estimates cause things can happen it was under a year before the first dlc came out but he has stated he has a better system now an has figured out alot i think on how to do things quicker also the lovsense thing threw a few curve balls as well , also dev said that he has upgraded some stuff on his system if im remembering rightly ,dev also stated that dlc wants it to be longer than the other two , plus writing for alot of characters and split routes takes time in doing those renders and animations, my general estimate would be sometime early next year maybe because of the above

if you can give an estimate why cant dev? you just made him look worse not better.....
misterbigbeard 27 Oct, 2024 @ 10:23pm
all i was doing was using common sense not attacking, all you have to do is read the news posts an maybe look at the release dates of when the last lot dropped not hard plus he said things were going quicker and that he was trying to put more length into the next episode , now i'll go back to the corner of shame you put me in lol :steammocking::steamfacepalm:

If you made an effort to look at the news releases from the last few days, you would see why things are taking their time. You just don't appreciate how much effort and man hours are needed to create a game from scratch. This is one person, developing a game on his own in his spare time. Yet he still manages to release a far superior product than the likes of the College Kings franchise who now have dozens of people working on a project.

I personally would rather wait longer for a release that isn't full of bugs than have a developer who panders to the impatient trolls.

As you appear to have bypassed my post to a previous person, I shall reiterate:

The developer is ONE MAN, working evenings and weekends. A single scene can take 100's of hours to render, especially when some are extremely complicated like the court room scenes are. I can assure you that he is working extremely hard to bring this project together and make sure the next release is as smooth and bug-free as possible. All of this, on top of having to work for a living, means that quarterly releases are out of the question. Even the CK franchise will have taken about 9 months by the time the next episode is released, and they're a team of dozens of people. So waiting 6-12 months for something from one person, which is of a much higher quality anyway, is hardly cause for complaint.

Check out his Patreon page and you will get a glimpse of just how much work is involved.

doesn't matter if its 1 man or a team . All anyone asks is an estimate , not an exact date.....

How long is a piece of string?

What do you expect the dev to do? Give you a date then run into issues and have to give you another date, and so on? CK have done that numerous times and it just pisses people off.
