It might be relevant that this started from a savegame of a few months ago, so if anything in the recent updates to the original game would have prevented it, it wasn't in this save. Did this happen to anyone who started a whole new game to get to the new content?

Hmmm... It shouldn't do... the variables are all stored in the base game directory...

I'd be interested to see what .webp is causing the exception or which variable is.

IF you happen to have discord, would you be willing to jump in just to paste in a screenshot at all?

Sorry I was at dinner. I'll check again in a couple minutes (I goofed and hit 'Quit' instead of Ignore and hadn't saved since the new content started, oops.)

All good. I've done beth, katie, mia and one for lily. Silly me and some dumb labels. I've also fixed an item a discord member raised for an alice path which threw exception. WIll upload a patch shortly for these. Just going to wait a little longer to see if anything else is found by the community.
