Hey all, this patch fixes some of the other issues introduced in the first update, as well as some minor adjustments. As always, thank you for the bug reports and feedback! We will continue to fix issues as they crop up but are now working on the coming updates, we’ll have more to share in a few weeks.

Fixes and Adjustments:

Attention all RAMheads!
We are excited to bring you the first major update to Early Access!
Thank you all for the support and feedback over the past month and a half! This update addresses a lot of feedback, cleans up a lot of jank, and of course adds new content! Cloud Saving is now also available!

New Content and Features:
Style Grade system
Complete a new storyline with the shopkeeper to unlock a system to grade your style!
Maintain higher grades to gain benefits for your hosts (move speed, damage, juice regen)

New GOLEM Upgrades
Added "Haste" (creates explosion when swapping into host)
Added "Scorn" (create a temporary damage field between old and new hosts)
Added "Doubt" (swap back into old hosts during post-swap confusion to refund previous swap)
Replaced Myopia with "Hyperopia" (increases upgrade rarity, but never generates upgrades with the same type as the current host)
Removed Indulgence juice regen penalty
Hubris now doubles post-mortem swap cost instead of decreasing host HP
Obsession now changes all upgrades to a random host type instead of current host type
Euphoria slowdown now only affects enemies

Fitness Gym
Practice a variety of trickshots to improve your skills

Tachi Updates
Cancelling kill mode now reduces cooldown by 1 second instead of 2
Stabbing enemies now reduces CWBIDBSC cooldown by 0.75 seconds
Spinlock Meditation now increases cooldown reduction when stabbing enemies instead of decreasing base cooldown
Cancelling kill mode without using a CWBIDBSC gives a reduced cooldown depending on kill mode duration
Added a small fitness bonus for comboing CWBIDBSC kills
Added a new sound effect to indicate when kill mode cooldown is over
True Focus will now also target impaled fitness jammers

Collider Updates
Tackling projectiles now adds them to your orbit
Player-controlled colliders are immune to tar while tackling
Killing enemies with a tackle now awards x2 scrap and a BODIED trickshot
Secondary fire while retaliating now performs a mini-tackle that transitions fluidly back into retaliating (retaliation can now be buffered by holding primary fire)
Tackle cooldown now decreases faster while retaliating
Added recoil when retaliating

New/updated upgrades
Added radical Collider upgrade “Entanglement”: +33% chance to shoot an additional projectile when a projectile is shot, -25% damage per extra shot
Reduced Spaghettification rarity to radical (as counterpart to Entanglement)
Added radical Collider upgrade “Decay”: Automatically fire +1 projectile per second at nearby enemies
Added breakthrough Collider upgrade “Beeftank Doctrine”: you’ll see :)
Added breakthrough Router upgrade “Perforated Envelope”: grenades fragment into +3 pieces on impact
Finesse now increases juggle combo cap and causes enemies launched after 3 or more juggles to explode
Careful Packing now extends grenade explosion timers by 0.1 seconds per stack

Adjustments
Added Exit markers when clearing a level (can be turned off in the gameplay options)
Fitness Jammers now explode after being destroyed and play a sound effect
Added new sound effects for fishing to better capture the angling experience
Added new “run completed” sound when returning to Ash Grove 6
Adjusted certain doors in floors where a softlock could occur
Adjusted Press Rack placement to avoid quantum entanglement
Removed the Doors in the CPU Arena
Added Careful Packing synergy with Shaped Charges to effects description
Turrets can now be impaled by Tachi sabers, grappled, and emit sparks when attacked
The last remaining Heap orb will now revive itself after a few seconds to prevent softlocking

Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where the upgrade selector was affecting the music volume
Fixed a bug where Heap Orbs would count as extra boss kills
Fixed a bug where dying as a Heap Orb would spawn the MITE out of bounds
Fixed a bug where the CPU could be pulled out of its arena with Yorikiri
Fixed an issue where the Bluescreen skin needed more kills than intended to unlock (now 8 as on the requirements text)
Fixed some issues with shop affordability not updating
Fixed an issue where the player could start a run while in conversation with Cuckoo
Fixed some issues with the starting host in Perimeter Defense not having AI
Harpoon tip no longer interacts with Heap Orbs
Fixed an issue with the MITE not updating the Variety multiplier
Fitness gain now can start immediately after beginning a run
Local Juice no longer regenerates when on the upgrade screen in combat
Fixed an issue where the Tachi time slow would not end correctly
Fixed an issue with rebinding the Eject key

Decreased likelihood of True Focus clipping you out of bounds

Alternative Coolant self-damage now bypasses post-swap invincibility
Reduced size of Alternative Coolant explosion when at extreme heat levels

Hey everyone, just a quick update before we are taking some time off for the holidays:

- Fixed the particle crash that was occurring when damage modifiers were being applied
- Fixed John Steeltoe swapping on gamepad

We are also excited to share some details about Early Access Update 1, which will be coming very soon in the New Year!
The GOLEM update includes a whole new style grade system, a fitness gym, and a bunch of new GOLEM upgrades and improvements.

This is a patch addressing some of the bugs we have seen reported this past week.

We are hard at work on the first update, and we are planning for it to be released in mid-December. As part of that update we will be addressing many gamepad issues and larger balance feedback items (such as Tachi).

Fixed an issue where the daily challenge encounters would be randomized
Fixed a potential softlock in Rush Hour
Fixed an issue in Shops where the player could get out of bounds
Fixed an issue where the player could be in Tim’s office with the foreground wall visible
Fixed an issue with certain achievements, they will now trigger the next time the interaction occurs
Fixed an issue where gamepad could lose focus when on the accessibility menu
Fixed several cases where the Heap could drop enemies out of bounds
Fixed not being able to swap to Heap orbs at the back of the boss room
Prevented triggering new waves after dying in horde mode
Fixed crash when targeting a swap for too long in horde mode
Fixed damage buffs sometimes applying multiple times to the same attack
Fixed Routers damaging themselves when swapped into while charging a dash
Fixed some typos

This patch addresses much of the feedback we have received over the past few days (and also buffs Router). We are continuing to monitor feedback and will address lingering bugs in the coming days, thanks to everyone for reporting and sharing your thoughts!

• Added a slider for Fitness Jammer VFX in Accessibility options

• Added a Speedrun mode which unlocks in the Gameplay options after beating the level 2 boss. Enabling this mode will add a Restart Run button to the End Run Summary screen, allowing you to not have to return to Ash Grove 6 between runs

• Increased hitbox of Level map swap points

• Fixed an issue with Horde Mode progression where you would be sent to Tim's office but be unable to enter

Balance:

• Increased hitbox size of Router dash attack
  
• Increased throw speed bonus of Express Delivery from 10% to 15%
  
• Significantly increased dodge chance of Top Gear
  
• Careful Packing now increases grenade explosion delay by 0.1 sec/stack
  
• Unsecured Cargo now also drops grenades when executing a charged dash
  
• Fixed Unsecured Cargo not dropping grenades when killing enemies with SPO
  
• Evasive Maneuvers now also adds i-frames to the resonance hammer lunge

This patch addresses most of the issues found on the first day. There are some issues we are still investigating and will fix asap, such as the cursor jittering on the map.
We have been reading the feedback and will continue to adjust things over the week! Thanks for a great first couple of days and all the positive reviews!

Adjustments:

Removed restrictions on fishing
Lowered the damage the Heap took from physics based attacks
Adjusted stack size font to be more legible on smaller resolutions
Adjusted doors in Staff Room and Coolant to avoid potential softlocks

Boss 2 Adjustments:

Heap orbs can no longer be possessed by the MITE until their shields are broken
Heap orbs no longer regenerate their shields after they break
Heap orbs now have healthbars after their shields are broken
Increased heap HP from 3000 to 3500
Decreased Heap orb HP from 500 to 400
Severing Heap orbs now deals 600 damage to the Heap instead of 500, but the damage no longer scales with modifiers like Deviance
Removed Heap's 50% weakness to physics damage
If Heap orbs are forced to drop enemies OOB, the enemies now die instantly
Changed Heap score to 1500, and orbs score value to 300 (previously they were all ~2000 due to a bug)
Damage from Efficiency no longer scales with modifierse like Deviance, and Efficiency now treats Heap orbs as bosses (doesn't instantly kill)
Fixed severing Heap orbs dealing negative damage to the Heap when at low health

Tachi Specific Fixes:

Fixed Tachi clipping OOB with True Focus (it should be less likely at least)
Fixed True Focus not targeting enemies standing too close to destructible objects
Free sabers no longer deal damage at low speeds
Killing enemies with sword stabs no longer gets the sword stuck mid-air until the enemy despawns
Decreased "ting" noise spam from free sabers

Fixes:

Fixed an issue where level 2 music was not looping
Fixed some Heap fight issues and softlocks (we are still investigating some edge cases for this and the CPU)
Fixed some issues with Achievements triggering (they should now trigger the next time the action occurs if missed the first time)
Fixed an issue where you could get stuck in the charging state after fishing
Fixed an issue where you could move with the Perimeter Defense Menu open
Fixed an issue where tutorial enemies could be replace with level 2 bots
Fixed an issue where EVL could be earned in practice mode
Fixed some visual layering issues
Fixed some typos and incorrect strings
