Playing Ys II and having trouble with saves not loading
Been having a glitch in Ys 2 where every save after the 10th save won't appear in the main menu, and thus I can't load it.

In game I can load different saves just fine, but I can't load any saves from the main menu for some reason.

C:\Users\"I changed user"\Saved Games\FALCOM\ys12c\ys2\save is empty.

But when I checked:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\1507279922\223810\remote\save\ys2

(which I found thanks to the help of another thread I found online, this one:

the saves were there, in .BMP files if that helps.

So I'm not sure if the saves are in the wrong spot and I have to move them or if something else is going on. I tried syncing with steam cloud but I'm not sure how that helps.

just realized I can for now just load into the 10th save slot, and from there load into the rest of the saves while in-game.

(excuse me for the wall of text lol, just wanted to be thorough in case anyone has this problem in the future)

Didn't work for me sadly. Had to resort to the old save switcheroo trick.

edit: apparently the saves should show up if you open the page where you have the saves (they won't appear at this point), exit the save/load menu, then open the save/load menu again. now the saves should appear.

Oh hey! the save swicheroo works! Thanks dude! :D

( Also another odd thing that happened is that if I go back to main menu, then go to load game, the page with my most recent saves (11-20) is loaded but not the page from (1-10).

Luckily the solution works the same for that page, so I guess this game just has a weird visual glitch lol. )
