Stupid question, did you press enter? Even with my wheel connected the keyboard registers inputs fine, and that's how I input data in F1 2013. Navigate with the arrow keys and hit enter to be able to type in that field.

Looks like you've got a known bug. There appears to be fixes for this, google "F1 2013 Player One fix" and you'll see a few fixes. They appear to require you to effectively crack your game so I don't know how this will affect Steam DRM or online play (or savegames for that matter), my advice is to look it up and make the decision yourself.

THANKS FOR THAT INFO...I MAY JUST KEEP IT THE WAY IT IS SINCE I BOUGHT THE GAME FROM STEAM...BUT I WILL LOOK UP THAT INFO FOR SURE

i just checked on the crack issue..it requires you to do a fake steam account to crack the game for this fix
im not willing to do that maybe steam will get a legit update fix for this pain in the but player one issue

SURPRISE ITS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 2023 and there is no way of getting his game without piracy... how do i fix it

Fixed - in case it helps anyone, my keyboard also stopped working just after loading the game - unable to move through the menus.
I verified integrity of steam files, and also deleted the F1 2013 hardware settings files in my documents folder, and one or both of those things fixed it.
