F1 2013 Not Loading
Hello everybody! I've recently re-installed F1 2013 after having it uninstalled for about a year. I had uninstalled it because I lost interest, but I wanted to jump back in which is why I tried. The game has successfully installed, but here's the problem. The game will play the intro logos, and the starting video, but at the short loading screen before the main menu, it just stops. I can see the circle spinning, info about different game modes changes as normal, but the main menu just never loads. Usually this screen is never there for more than 20 seconds or so. Can somebody explain as to why?

right-click on game > properties > local files > "verify integrity of game files..."

I regularly have this issue with F1 2013 and have to verify the integrity of its files or to reinstall it entirely. Each time I'm not sure I'll be able to launch it again. I've reinstalled it few days ago and it crashes at launch 1 time out of 3.

This time the game is dead, I can't launch it... Maybe in a few months it will work again...

Just play F1 2017. More people on that anyways. Also Project Cars 2 is quite good. F1 2013 launches for me but doesn't give proper FFB for my wheel T150.

Activate Vsync ingame or on your graphic card app, that should solve your ffb issue

Well for one thing, I already have PC2. For another thing, I don't hvae F1 2017. I've taken a look at the game and I personally don't think it's worth 60 bucks for.

I agree, F1 2017 is a big step up on F1 2013 but it is not worth the full price. For around 17 (DLC included), its usual price on sales, it's worth a buy thanks to the "classic" content and the improved FFB, if you consider 90's and 2000's cars as classic. For my taste, F1 2013 has true classic content, but F1 2017 enables clutch and H pattern use for the 1988 and 1990 Mclarens.... F1 2013 has F1 2013 sounds ;) F1 2017 definitely isn't worth 60 bucks

I used to play F1 2013 just to have fun with classic cars, on classic tracks. I use F1 2017 only for the Mclarens and the 1992 Williams (which is available in F1 2013 with a better base setup). So for me, and I'm sure for others, F1 2013 is a much better game. That's why we need to work on Win10!

Kind of really late to this discussion, I got to load the game without any issues at all, only detail is I install on a different drive / partition than the one where the main program files folder is, and create a new steamlibrary folder on this other drive/partition and install there
