You'd be so nice... (to have achievements) PETITION FOR OBLIVION ACHIEVEMENTS, FEB 2025
I posted something similar on the Fallout GOTY, but Bethesda PLEASE, are you there? It's me Margaret. Oblivion and Fallout 3 still have thriving community after all these years, and inferior companies like Ubisoft have recently added achievements to their games on Steam. Therefore I am taking it on myself to implore you, Bethesda, as a company, to expend a minor cost to add achievements to your games. I would SERIOUSLY pay like 40 dollars for an Oblivion or Fallout 3 (OR New Vegas) remaster w/ achievements. Either way, basically, PLEASE, hear my plea. You would level up your life-long customer status for many of us, no doubt.

Even if you asked Bethesda the publisher (Steam isn't the place to ask this), I doubt they would have any interest in expending resources to the add in-game achievements to Steam. Regardless of how 'easy' it may be, it would have an associated expenditure. I'd posit it would have no RoI for their business. Therefore, it will never happen.

I wouldn't mind Achievements, but I've heard ppl that mod don't want them and I get that, but I'd not mind them myself:)

Even if you play on PC, you can use the list of achievements (and tick them off manually).

Yeah I was surprised and happy to see Watch Dogs 1 and 2 get achievements. I still play 1 from time to time. It's really weird to think about how much more I'd rather play Oblivion than Starfield. Oblivion is really a much better game and it shows... The Starfield forum is sadly in denial about this, but anyone who has played both can see the difference in quality
