It's not gonna happen. It wasn't the mystery game on the Xbox Direct. Such a shame, Microsoft's game division continues to be an absolute failure.
THERE IS NO REMASTER.
Stop believing Reddit rumours.
Reddit is trash please stop

Skyrim SE is $39.99 on Steam, so I'd imagine the price for a remastered Oblivion would probably be, maybe $29.99.

As for discounts? IIrc, when Skyrim SE came out, people that bought the Legendary Edition or the original with all of the dlc got Skyrim SE for free. So I'd imagine that people that own the original with all of the dlc or the GOTY Edition would get the Remaster for free as well.
There's no proof beyond a reasonable doubt nor balance of probabilities that there will be an official remaster of TES IV: Oblivion. Those leaks of the FTC vs Microsoft court case only proved that Bethesda was at one point working on a remaster, or at the very least considering to.
January 23rd has come and gone again.

That was supposed to be the reveal.
It was also supposed to be the reveal last year, and the year before.

There is no remaster.

If by some miracle there is one, it's gonna be a lazy ai upscaled remaster that's exactly the same besides higher resolutions, and the only purpose is to resell the game at or near new prices for new consoles.

You can expect the remaster to follow the usual game plan of appearing "ok-ish" on base game and then charging you basically half the price of the base game for every DLC.

Considering the numerous DLCs the game has, I would expect something ridiculous.

Probably 69.99 Like Starfield.

that's not how Bethesda charges their remasters; they bundle all the DLC with the base game, and then charge extra for Creation Club ;)
Not sure, but the price probably won't reflect the quality of the remaster/remake. Won't be nearly as good as Skyblivion.

Who, other than people who have never played a Bethesda game before, would buy an Unreal Engine remake of Oblivion anyway?

Mods? We can offer you reshades. That's about it.

Unless they're going to somehow make the Creation Kit inside Unreal Engine, I don't see the point, other than getting new customers who don't understand the point of an infinitely moddable sandbox. New customers who think of a game in finite terms, who have never experienced that side of Elder Scrolls 3, 4, 5, and Fallout 3, NV, and 4.

I can't see any of the regular Nexus crowd buying anything not moddable.

Me. I don't care about mods.
