This update adds a couple of features asked for by the community, along with inprovements and bug fixes. Full list follows:-

- ADDED: Some steering wheel support. Support for Logitech G29 and Thrustmaster T150 models. A couple of caveats: there’s no force feedback and the game may display incorrect button iconography in the UI based on the wheel model you own.

NEW DECADE OF RACING, WELCOME TO THE YEAR 2000.

*ADDED: 2000s racing decade! This CAREER MODE update includes a total of 35 brand new events, and a new racing location in Poland. As if that wasn’t enough, it also adds a grid of new, and more capable CPU drivers and teams to out-race, and 3 new cars for you to upgrade and customise! The two Poland track configurations are also added to CREATE-A-CHAMPIONSHIP MODE, so can be added to your own custom championship configurations.
*ADDED: Licensed tech! You can now improve your cars not only with upgrades, but also by licensing technology from other teams for temporary performance improvements providing an alternative upgrade strategy, or a temporary boost to beat that hard to finish event. Friendly teams will offer a discount on their tech, but teams driven by hostile drivers will bump the price of theirs!
*ADDED: Improved news! News has had a graphical update with new staging based on driving decade, plus a selection of new news stories.
*IMPROVED: Higher resolution shadows in cockpit view.
*IMPROVED: The opportunity to sack an unhappy member of staff!
*IMPROVED: Edit your character's appearance from the Customise Screen in the garage.
*FIXED: Sound effects now play when you repair a component in the pits.
*FIXED: Issue with CPU car performance in reverse races not recognising when they’re the lead car.
*FIXED: New stories where CPU drivers were being mis-gendered.
*FIXED: Quitting championships made in CREATE-A-CHAMPIONSHIP MODE sometimes didn’t save if no return to the Mode Select Screen.
*FIXED: Dilemma issue in which both staff members increased their happiness.
*FIXED: Multiplayer championships now save progress between launches, and can be resumed with any number of players.

CREATION MODE UPDATE

* ADDED: Create-a-Championship Mode. This mode offers players the ability to create their own custom championship competitions. A host of options are available for tweaking, such as track length, pitting, or weather; and in the advanced options, settings such as race speed, how competitive the CPU opponents are, and the option to carry car damage over between races allows players to customise the experience to their own tastes. The requests for longer race durations have been answered with the option to set race distance (99 lap races anyone?), and to top it off, any custom competitions can be played in either single player, or multiplayer with up to four players.
* ADDED: Staff personalities. Staff now have different personalities: some are easy to keep happy, others less so. Some upset other staff members, others don’t, while some also have special bonus abilities, so choosing between members of staff based on their personalities offers more strategy options for your team and more depth and richness between races. Additionally, staff happiness now offers a bonus to perk performance, so keeping your staff happy is worth the effort as it gains you an edge on the track.
* ADDED: Some extra staff-related news stories based on their personalities.
* ADDED: A few extra character customisation options.
* FIXED: Bug where a failure could occur in non-GP races without a warning dilemma.
* FIXED: Title screen crash if more than four controllers are connected.
* FIXED: Incompatibility problem with save game formats.

- FIXED: Further fix for Steam Deck preventing a situation where the game controls became unresponsive.
- FIXED: Music sting not playing during the championship scene at the end of CHAMPIONSHIP MODE competitions.
- FIXED: Some minor text fixes.

*IMPROVED: Significant optimisations to in-race code and rendering to wring the most out of your playing device
*IMPROVED: Track abrasion settings. We’ve updated the track abrasion settings in PRO DIFFICULTY only, reducing the durability of soft and hard tyres to better differentiate between pit strategies.
*IMPROVED: Tyre wear upgrade now has a more significant effect
*IMPROVED: New values for Time Trial and Checkpoint events in PRO DIFFICULTY making those events more challenging and more in line with the rest of the events in PRO DIFFICULTY.
*IMPROVED: Reduced level of boost in PRO DIFFICULTY only to about half its previous effect.
*FIXED: The wrong times were being reported at the end of Elimination events.
*FIXED: When deleting a save slot, the selected save slot now stays selected.
*FIXED: Removed the problem with wet tyres overly wearing during rain showers.
*FIXED: Triggering a rewind during a tutorial message caused the game to enter a state from which it could not progress.
*FIXED: Incorrect button icons being displayed on Steam Deck for resetting a car pointing in the wrong direction.
*FIXED: No more pesky keyboard prompts on Steam Deck.
*FIXED: Unlocked perk slots now show correct unlocked colouring.
*FIXED: Braking SFX no longer ducks the game music.
*FIXED: Player car bouncing and skewing sideways when leaving the pits for the second time.
*FIXED: No icon being displayed on the CONTINUE button of the “not using staff perks” phone message.
*FIXED: It was possible to get invites to rival races in decades that were not accessible in-game.
*FIXED: When racing in CHAMPIONSHIP MODE, the track maps have been scaled so they no longer obscure split times.
*FIXED: Personal best UI animation now timed correctly.
*FIXED: Completing or cancelling a championship now correctly resets progress.

After a great response to Early Access launch and amazing feedback from players, we are pleased to reveal the roadmap to take the game from Early Access to full launch. This is subject to change in both order and content based on new development insights, and of course feedback from our players, but we hope this gives a little more insight into where we’re intending to go with it and the type of content you can expect as the updates come.

* ADDED: Pro difficulty mode for new careers! Something for more experienced racers to get their teeth into right from the 80s.
* IMPROVED: Warm tyres perk is more effective and all rolling start events begin with warm tyres.
* IMPROVED: Staff happiness easier to sustain - further RPG changes are in the pipeline.

* IMPROVED: Variability of race outcome for the middle grid places.
* UPDATED: Wet tyres now degrade substantially quicker on dry tracks
* FIXED: Reset button on the Season Leaderboard screen no longer leaves you unable to complete a season. Clicking the button now will unblock affected saves.
* FIXED: Closed loophole in AI logic that caused them to steer into you if you approached their rear tyre
* FIXED: Incorrectly awarded bodyshell in the 90s
* FIXED: Full-length track warning appearing too often
* FIXED: AI cars were choosing splash-n-dash last lap pit strategies far too often.
