since rivals 2 Launch there has only been 3 color palettes, one that's Halloween themed, the cool blue palettes, and black palettes. The other palettes not mentioned are earn-able or obtainable through twitch bringing the total color palette selection to just 6 variants.

There could have been seasonal palettes for Christmas, and this months valentine's event.

we should at least be getting 1 to 3 new cast palettes per update before they add the custom color feature that would completely devalue palettes.

Etalus did not receive a retro-active palette for the Halloween and cool blue palettes, just the black palette.

Color palettes don't require much development time, as its just changing color values and making a new shop ID. we shouldn't have to download an unofficial custom palette maker to get new colors.

The monthly bundles kind of prove that they want to prioritize bundles that would cost real money, I personally don't have a problem with that. however the bundles just include 3 random skins for the cast and it ultimately might not be for a character you like, which is why there's a lot of discussion about x character having no skins.
