The problem I have primarily is with the trait Hollow, which gives a random buff and the possibility of getting Phase is more likely to get you killed which makes the perk more of a penalty than a buff.
IMO, phasing really should NOT be listed as a buff. It just removes any consistency from your play - it's TERRIBLE on your melee units (unless it's lategame and they have like 7 or 8 AP and can kinda mitigate being TPd God knows where) and it often puts you ranged units either out of range of their skills, OR places them in the middle of the enemy party.
It has its merits as a separate skill that you deliberately cast after thinking through all pros and cons. But it can simply devastate you if you get it randomly as a random buff. And losing through no fault of your own is never fun.
Agreed.
Its terrible for ranged classes as you could end up close or even behind the enemy lines.
Its terrible overall and i don't see a build where its a positive tbh.
Unless you are the luckiest SOB ever.
