Completing this has single-handedly recovered my self-esteem.

I love the stripped-down pico-8 presentation, doubly so because of how well it highlights the masterfully crafted mechanics. Other reviews have already mentioned the game's difficulty and I can vouch that none of them are exaggerating it. Once again, the game mechanics might seem simple at first, but over the course of the game you will have the delight of figuring out just about every amusing and unexpected way they mesh together. Magicube manages to do this without overstaying its welcome and I really love how concentrated it is. None of the puzzles feel like something added just to round up the total number, each and every one was a joy to figure out.

In short, Magicube is now up there with increpare's Stephen's Sausage Roll in my personal phenomenal puzzle pantheon.
