Alright, I figure it out. It's the crouch/sneak button. I look very cool and collected when doing it, which is very important.

B or Circle on controller. Same button for dodge/roll.

It's c on the keyboard, did not know about that at first and was wondering how I got off the horse normally also.

or how do you sprint with the horse in a non aggressive manner? Feel like I'm being a little harsh on Kage.

My horse is Kage as well. I agree. There should be a softer way to get it going.

Next question, how do I jump with the horse without jumping off my horse. I have embarrassed myself a few times jumping off my horse when that was no my intentions. Luckily I killed all witnessess, but I fear it might happen again around Japanese people, which will mean seppuku for Jin.

You chose your horses name wisely, and I too would wish to know how to jump with Kage. I may have accidentally done the same but lucky for me only a few (3) boar saw and I made quick work of them. I could not bear to shame Jin like this again.

I also named my horse Kage. Been wondering about how to make the horse jump too.

The horse automatically jumps when coming up to an obstacle it can jump! No button presses required folks! Just keep riding Kage into the wind!

I scoured the controls and no such mention is made about said topic. I fear for Jin, but on a side note.

Thanks I did not know that. I have not played the PS5 version of this game in a good while so I forgot it did that.
