nvidia gpu drivers in linux question
on winhoes 69 i used nvcleanstall to install drivers for my gpu, can i do the same here?

do i even need to? looking at the driver manager, it looks like i have some open source alternative driver installed, should i just leave it as it is (unless i find i need the nvidia control panel)? i need my gpu to run the best it possibly can considering its barely enough to run my games

No bloat for Nvidia driver on Linux, just driver plus GUI control panel.
r u saying if i install the proprietary driver using the driver manager, it already comes debloated?
or nvidia just dont include that stuff in their linux drivers for some reason?
There are no Geforce Experience on linux'es. After installing drivers you get graphics acceleration enabled and that's it.

In case of Nvidia, you need to stick to proprietary drivers. But it's known to drop support for older cards eventually, so for very old chips (15 years ago) stick with nouveau and mesa.

Driver installation instructions are usually provided in your distro wiki. Some distros like Manjaro can even install it for you.

ok, so if i install the proprietary driver, is there any way to install it without all their bloat like their screenshot thing and geforce experience?
