Steam, Nobara (Fedora based) and resolution reducing
I recently switched from Nvidia graphics to AMD. The problem I'm having is that whenever Steam is running, after my screen goes blank (turns off after the set time), and I then wake it up, my resolution is decreased. My OS then only shows support for two 4:3 resolutions and I have to reboot to fix it. Nvidia never gave me this problem. Any ideas?

using display port? i would recommend turning off the screen and turning it back on; some screens does not fully wake up after going into standby

I got it fixed, thanks. I just had to completely wipe all traces of Nvidia, and and sync my distro. It wasn't a sleep/suspend problem though. The screen turns off after a set time, not meaning my PC goes to sleep. It's all good in the hood. Running tip top now.

Its nice that its fixed. Though he wasn't talking about the PC. When a monitor goes black its in standby/sleep which is what he was referring t.
