Steam for Linux

Steamwebhelper issues when starting the client in a separate session
I am getting the "steamwebhelper is not responding" issue that prevents the steam client from showing the library, etc. I tried resolving it on it's own, disabled the GPU acceleration, but to no avail.

I have observed that the issue only appears when starting the steam in a separate session (using `setsid`). There are some situations when I cannot avoid this, so I wonder: is there anything else I can try on the steam side to fix it?

Why?

(I'm using Linux for over 25 years now and never felt I needed this command - didn't even know it.)

When streaming games, the setup I have is more convenient to use in a separate session. Also, when I'm clicking on a desktop icon (when not opening in a terminal), it creates a new session I think
