NVIDIA & Linux For VR ... Problems?
I remember hearing about 3 years ago people were having problems getting typical PC VR stuff working if they were using an NVIDIA GPU to play on Linux, but that Linux and VR work fine together as long as you are on a Valve Index and an AMD GPU.

Does anyone have any more recent experience playing PC VR games on Steam with an NVIDIA GPU on Linux?

Just wondering if whatever problems there may have been are fixed now.

I recently tried getting my Samsung Odyssey plus windows mixed reality headset working on Linux/nvidia. No luck here.
Index and other sets based on lanterns from the vive system - they probably all work.
Quest-based kits works on alvr.
I don't have information about Rift sets, but I don't think it works.
I have no idea how it is with the Pico sets.

Nvidia works, but not every driver version is successful.

edit:
I have no idea how it is with wmr, but I feel under my skin that I shouldn't try.

Okay so if you're on an NVIDIA GPU and a Valve Index then you're good to go with VR on Linux?
