I found out how to run the game in 4k without a small ui :)
Download D3DWindows to make the screen in window mode. Buy Lossless scaling tool here on Steam. Make sure your default resolution is 4k. Put it to auto and full screen and press scale and return to game. You get a 4k Age of Empires 2 :) It's BEAUTIFUL!

You should make as short Guide of that. Your post will eventually die off but a Guide will let you expand on your advice and improve on it if there are any developments

Ok I can look into it haha. Im also going to record some 4k footage of me playing the Doom Mod with it.
