Won't start
So I launch it in my library, steam says it's running for a few seconds, and then the "running" text next to the name disappears. The game shows up for a few seconds in the task manager as well, but quickly disappears as well. No loading screen, no black screen, nothing that's even remotely showing the game is at least TRYING to get itself to run, nothing.

I have since been able to get help on the M&B subreddit. Thanks for nothing I guess.

What did you do to get it working? I can't get it to work on any windows 10 computers

I asked for help on M&B subreddit, where one user in particular has been a great help by taking a look at my files, and finally being able to help me by sending me his mount&blade.exe file, which somehow fixed the problem. I would love to post the link, but the filters won't let me.

Could you give us the name of that reddit post, please? I can't seem to find it.

The post itself does not contain the download link, one of the guys responding messaged me and we worked the problem out through DMs. Sorry.

It's okay, the problem somehow solved itself after I turned Compatibility mode off again. It's weird but I'm perfectly happy as long as the game works.

I'm glad that you managed to get it working, however I'm slightly annoyed by the fact that I can't post the download link here for some reason. It would be great for someone with the similar problem to ours to try the .exe file out to see if it wouldn't solve his problem.
