How to open Cheatmenu (Console) in normal Mount&Blade (not Warband)

The wiki says,
Press Ctrl + ~
Which works in Warband, but not in normal Mount&Blade.

Googling dosn't help.
Only leads to onother Steam discussion where everyone just says "Don't cheat".

How do you open the Console in normal Mount&Blade?

So there is no Cheatmenu in normal Mount&Blade.

Cheatmenu was added to Warband, it does not exist in the original game. You can still use cheats though, just make sure you enable them in the launcher.

Completely missed that, thank you for pointing it out.

EDIT - Dang, really wanted to see armors available in some mods to plan characters.
As well as get multiple copies of the same armor for my companians.
