Is the demo broken?

I downloaded the demo, and when i run it, it says it's running but it never comes up. I've redownloaded it as well, and nothing changed

Apparrently the demo doesn't work on Win 10. The game itself works, but not the demo.

I installed the demo and it says it is running (now I know that it doesn't work on Win 10) but it I'm trying to uninstall the demo so that it will stop running but it won't uninstall because it is running. I've checked task manager and it isn't running. NOt sure what to do, I can't even close out steam or play another game.
