Ok, let me clarify. Personally, I have not had random crashes from the game at the start of a battle or in river raids, or just when traveling around the map of England on a horse.

But I had two friends who have! And nothing helped them - neither updating the driver, nor contacting Ubisoft Support. There was simply no solution. The game would randomly crash every 30-90 minutes.

But today my friends and I discussed this and noticed that the game on Windows 11 with the update to 24H2... stopped crashing! It is not yet clear exactly whether the game has stopped crashing completely or it just crashes much less often on 24H2. But perhaps this will help you. If you have crashes, update to 24H2.

THERE IS ONLY ONE SIGNIFICANT PROBLEM - Assassin Origins currently does not work on Windows 11 24H2. There is no solution to this problem.

So decide what is more important to you - playing Valhalla with crashes after 30 minutes, but being able to continue playing Origins. Or try to fix the game crashes by updating to 24H2 nad loose access to Origins.

Unfortunately, this is the best solution to the Valhalla crash problem that I have found.

I would also like to curse the technical support service of Ubisoft, because it does NOT fix crashes in Valhalla and freezing of AC Origins on Windows 11 24H2
