no problem here have you tried to run Steam as an Admin and verify your game files ?

Just check that you have done all skills that you have to do before exiting that very first time. From memory there are two, one is for crafting and maybe run/slide skill as well. You need to go through the three different modes of skills at the top of the page (I think) to find the extra one that is required to be completed.

Don't worry, I got stuck there as well and had to hunt around to find what I hadn't done. Once you do you can progress.

I had this problem at The Cracked version of the game.Do you have the bought one or the cracked one?
And...The thing,do you have the sound? Becausr if you dont,thats why.Replay me to help you...

The problem is that I cannot exit or back out of the screen normally (escape key)... I'll try again tonight though, thanks.

I have the legal game here on STEAM.... and I got sound. Like I said above, I'll try again tonight.

i think waht your missing to do is unlock the Skill you need the takedown skill i think you just have to select it (double click on it ) so it 'll unlock the skill

then you can close the screen

I did that... select... is there a particular key combonation I need?

worked here with just a mouse double click .. i'll start another new game and check again

I'll have to try again in an hour or two... cooking dinner right now.

when you go back to dennis after getting the leaves and boar skins

you have to craft 2 health syringes

then clik to your bags .. look in the upper right of the screen

use the boar skins to craft a loot bag

then the skills menu opens
select the shark skill set in the upper right and unlock the takedown skill
next

choose the spider or bird to unlock a skill there (again look to the upper right of your screen )

i chose the spider skill and the slide

game resumes and dennis drives you to capture the first outpost

The idea of giving someone a 'Hint' as to what to do is a help. if you give them a complete walkthrough they will never learn (exactly the same as in real life). If you don't give all the answers, but just give guidance as to what to look for once you realise you have missed something it is then up to the individual to go look for whatever it is they need to do. Then, the next time it happens you know there is something more required to complete the next step. Otherwise, everytime there is a problem they will come back and ask a question knowing someone will give all the answers instead of working it out for themselves.

That way you don't learn (or even try to), it's just the easy way out. It's no different to using mods (or whatever to complete a game or gain achievements).

Give someone basic information and hopefully it will make them think and look harder for what is required, then again maybe I am just wasting my breath!

This is irritating, it is still not working... the shark skill in the upper-right keeps flashing. I notice that I have 2 skill points to spend, but have no itea how to spend them (how, as in what button).

Well, I spamed the left-click moufe button while on the takedown skill square and it finnally oent a sill point. Now I got 1 left... doing the sliding skill under the spider, but it does not do anything. Good gravey, I might as well use a cheat or something.

reinstall your game
delete any left over save files you have in
c:program files x86 \ubisoft \ubisoft game launcher \series of letters and numbers folder \ 46
before you launch a new one

if your using a gamepad unplug it and try the game with Kb + mouse

if it still fails try another mouse
