There is a route to logging headquarter just beside the entrance of NiuYang village.

In the early stages of the game, players can only pick up wood scattered on the ground. Progress becomes possible after gathering materials to unlock the Lumber Mill (located at the entrance to NiuYang Village; go inside and to the left, where a bridge has collapsed. After repairing the bridge, the Lumber Mill becomes accessible). Once the Lumber Mill is unlocked, players can obtain an axe to chop wood within the mill.
