Like what do you even do? Kinda getting sick of doing the whole level over and over just to die to his random ♥♥♥♥ storm

Are there multiple secrets in the Nightmare level? The only one I could find was that you could go through a wall near the room with the two floaters and do a couple jumps to take out enemies near the end. I've played this level multiple times, yet I still can't find anything else....

I played the game yesterday it ran fine but now it runs too slow I tried to lower the resloution still didnt help
