Where is the long jump module?

Gman said he got to keep the suit in HL1, and the long jump module was attached to the suit, so surely we could assume gman let gordon keep that too. so, surely, Unless the resistance some how lost it during the 20 years between the 7 hour war and start of hl2, then it should be attached to the suit still.

and if Gman didn't let gordon keep it, why couldn't Kleiner or Eli have made one in the 20 years?

Am confused about your post, but you are able to long jump in the HL2 games.

Method, Stand 5 or more feet from the edge of the object you're on then,
1. Keep your eye on the edge of the ledge, that is where you tap jump.
2. Press sprint and as soon as you get to the edge press jump.
3. I hold the run button then immediately after pressing jump I press crouch.
4. You land in the crouch position, stand and run

And also gives Gordon the ability to drown.
No seriously, you CANNOT drown in HL2 without the hev suit.

You also regenerate health without the HEV. The truth is, “HEV Suit” isn’t designed to protect Gordon, it’s designed to limit his power to prevent him from destroying the Universe. You know, like in Evangelion.
