Audio loop markers for custom sound addons?
Currently in the midst of making a comprehensive sound addon that replaces a ton of stuff, and I'm having a bit of an issue.

Whenever I replace a sound that is supposed to loop in game, it will only play once. I assume this has something to do with loop markers that Reaper DAW isn't putting in the new replacement file.

Would really appreciate help on this one. I'm desperate to replace the Jalopy engine sfx with more powerful sounds (Chevy Camaro sounds from Gran Turismo 7 maybe?)

Most DAWs if not all will not embed the loop cue points into the rendered WAV file. I had trouble too when fixing broken sounds in HL2DM. To embed loop points into the WAV, you can use something like Goldwave,[www.goldwave.com] which is what I used and worked perfectly for me. There is a VDC article that outlines the process of placing loop points in the software.

Hope this helps!
