Everything is tied to your account.
Gold name & Crown accolade should be visible (currently even for free players, we'll have a small patch addressing this out shortly)
You can select custom armour in your settings, the same page where you choose heads.

just noticed the game, i'm curious if there's any other way to get gold name/crown accolade on scoreboard. Buying dlc? or is there's no way to get that anymore

No, the gold name, crown and gold tools are exclusive to our old players!

No micro transactions, but you can subscribe to our Patreon for more customization options: https://www.patreon.com/kingarthursgold/overview or buy a DLC on Steam
It's just cosmetics though, the entire game is free.

Yes, it's for King Arthur's Golds' birthday.
It's a little loose, but otherwise than that you could say it's timed.
You can buy DLC in the store for more heads, including that which comes via patreon.

No. We talked to GOG and they decided it would be best to remove the game from the platform (they did not want to make it free there). Not our decision.
